Lisa McDermott

Lisa McDermott is a partner whose practice focuses on debt finance. She represents commercial banks, investment banks, private credit lenders, public and private companies, and private equity firms and their portfolio companies in connection with the full spectrum of leveraged financing transactions. Her experience includes senior secured and unsecured credit facilities, leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings, syndicated, club-deal and bilateral structures, cash-flow and asset-based lending transactions, and real estate and development financings. Lisa’s work spans a broad range of financial markets and transaction sizes from middle market lending to investment grade facilities and covers industries such as retail, technology, food and consumer products, and energy. Prior to joining the firm, she practiced in the global finance group of an international law firm headquartered in Chicago.

Lisa holds a J.D., with distinction, from The University of Iowa College of Law and a B.A. in Political Science from The University of Iowa. She is admitted to practice in Illinois and Tennessee.
