Legal Assistant
Emiliano serves as a Legal Assistant at Budnik & Reed, where he supports the firm's attorneys and administrative team in delivering exceptional service to clients. In his role, he assists with legal and administrative projects while gaining hands-on experience across a broad range of practice areas and firm operations.
Originally from El Paso, Texas, and raised in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, Emiliano brings a unique cross-border perspective that has shaped both his personal and professional interests. He graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in just three years, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Government, a minor in Business and Public Policy, and a certificate from the McCombs School of Business. During his undergraduate studies, he also participated in the Diploma HUGO program at Universidad Pontificia Comillas in Madrid, Spain, where he expanded his understanding of international affairs, comparative legal systems, and global perspectives.
Throughout college, Emiliano completed several internships in the legal, governmental, and public policy sectors, gaining experience in legal research, policy analysis, public service, and client advocacy. These opportunities reinforced his interest in the legal profession and provided a strong foundation for his work at Budnik & Reed.
Emiliano plans to attend law school and pursue a career as an attorney in the United States. He is passionate about leadership, public service, and lifelong learning, and is committed to building meaningful relationships while continuing to grow professionally.
Outside of the office, Emiliano enjoys following Texas Longhorn athletics, exploring new places, and spending time with family and friends.
