Bree Stotz serves as Chief of Staff at Budnik & Reed, where she partners closely with firm leadership to drive operations, execute strategic initiatives and support the firm’s continued growth. She oversees the firm’s operational infrastructure, ensuring alignment between internal processes, client service and business objectives.

With more than 25 years of experience in the legal industry, Bree brings a sophisticated understanding of both law firm operations and the business of legal services. Her background includes roles at top‑tier law firms and in‑house legal departments, where she developed deep expertise in legal operations, corporate governance, transactional support, and organizational management.

 Bree plays an active role in business development and client engagement, working alongside the partners to support client onboarding, strengthen relationships, and position the firm for long‑term growth. She brings a practical, client‑focused perspective to these efforts, ensuring that operational execution enhances the overall client experience.

 She is recognized for her ability to build and scale operational functions, implement efficient systems, and thoughtfully integrate technology to support complex and evolving legal practices. Bree works cross‑functionally with attorneys and leadership to drive initiatives that improve efficiency, support growth, and uphold the firm’s high standards of service.

 Bree began her career in legal support and advanced to the role of paralegal before transitioning into legal operations and business leadership. This foundation gives her a comprehensive, ground‑level understanding of how legal teams function and informs her ability to design effective, sustainable solutions.

 Having worked with Todd Reed for many years at a prior firm, Bree shares his vision of building a practice that delivers exceptional legal services while maintaining the responsiveness and personalized approach of a boutique firm. She plays an integral role in shaping Budnik & Reed’s operations and culture, helping to scale the firm while preserving the collaborative, high‑performing environment that defines it.

 Outside of work, Bree enjoys golfing, traveling, and gardening.  Even when free time is scarce, golf is never far from her mind.
