SERVICES

Isaac Budnik Villarreal focuses his practice on high-profile, bet-the-company litigation and complex cross-border disputes. He is a dual-licensed attorney admitted to practice in both Texas and Mexico. Isaac earned his law degree from one of Mexico’s most prestigious law schools, graduating second in his class, and continued his legal studies at The University of Texas School of Law.

Before founding Budnik and Reed PLLC, Isaac earned the rare distinction of serving as a law clerk to a Texas Supreme Court Justice and a United States District Court Judge. He was the first foreign-trained attorney in the country’s history to clerk at the Supreme Court of Texas, and the first to clerk at any federal district court in the United States. He went on to practice at one of the world’s largest international law firms, as well as a premier boutique litigation practice in Austin, honing his skills in high-stakes trial work.

At Budnik and Reed PLLC, Isaac represents billion-dollar multinational corporations, prominent business leaders, and influential families in litigation that regularly involves tens to hundreds of millions of dollars. His cases often make headlines, and he is recognized for securing decisive victories in the most difficult circumstances. From obtaining emergency injunctions against global energy giants to defeating fraud schemes and shareholder disputes, Isaac has built a reputation for not only taking on the most formidable opponents—but winning.
